The Ombudsman

Mr. Keursly Concincion was elected as Ombudsman by the Parliament of Curaçao on October 13, 2015, and was appointed on October 27, 2015 for a term of six (6) years. He was reappointed by the Parliament of Curaçao on October 27, 2021 for a second and final term of six (6) years.

Mr. Concincion studied law at the University of the Netherlands Antilles and has extensive experience within the public sector. Throughout his career, he has held various positions in government and has served on numerous committees [including the committee that prepared and drafted the Constitution of Curaçao, which entered into force in 2010]. Mr. Concincion previously also served as a guest lecturer [introduction to administrative law] at the University of Curaçao.
