Ombudsman looks back on a constructive meeting of the IOI World Board
The Ombudsman of Curaçao looks back on a productive meeting of the World Board of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI).
This meeting primarily focused on the organization's short-term strategic choices and the independence of individual members for the benefit of citizens.
As a member of the designated working group, the Ombudsman of Curaçao furthermore drafted the initial framework of the new ‘Editorial Guidelines’ for the IOI. This draft was unanimously adopted by the IOI World Board and is valid for two years, after which an evaluation will take place.
The next meeting of the World Board will take place in Vienna, Austria, in 2027.
